“In-Between Days: A Memoir about Living with Cancer” by Teva Harrison
Teva Harrison is an artist, writer and cartoonist. She will be leading a discussion on her critically acclaimed graphic memoir, In-Between Days. Teva was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer at age 37. The book was listed in The Globe’s 16 Canadian reads for the first half of 2016, the CBC’s Spring Book Preview and 49th Shelf’s Most Anticipated: Our Spring 2016 Non-Fiction Preview.
Prior to her cancer diagnosis, Teva was the Director of Marketing at the Nature Conservancy of Canada, and before that, she worked in visual art, film, publishing and music, as part of the show or behind the scenes in Canada and the U.S. She was born in rural Oregon, and currently lives in Toronto with her wonderful husband.
